    Yes, you must use your first and last name in order to open an Apex Unity Business Smart bank account. The Apex Unity Business Smart bank account was designed for freelancers and the self-employed who offer their services in their own name—that means the name of your business will not be shown in your bank account or on your Mastercard.

    To open your Apex Unity Business Smart account, you must meet our eligibility criteria. If you do, you can open your account in just a few minutes using your smartphone or the Apex Unity WebApp on desktop. Opening your bank account doesn’t require any paperwork.     With Apex Unity Business Smart, you’ll earn 0.1% cashback on all your Mastercard purchases. Your cashback will be automatically calculated and deposited into your Apex Unity Business Smart bank account on a monthly basis—you don’t need to do a thing.

    No. It currently isn’t possible to have two Apex Unity bank accounts with the same name. If you have a personal Apex Unity account and want to open an Apex Unity Business Smart bank account, you will first need to close your personal Apex Unity bank account. You may then sign up for an Apex Unity Business Smart bank account.

    Spaces are sub-accounts that sit next to your main account. With Spaces, you can easily manage your finances and organize your savings. Create up to 10 Spaces in your Apex Unity app, and simply drag-and-drop to move money between your main account and your Spaces sub-accounts. Spaces are also handy for putting money aside for upcoming expenses, such as future tax payments. With Shared Spaces, you can manage shared expenses or join together to reach a savings goal as a group—simply invite up to 10 other Apex Unity customers to your Shared Space. Each customer will then be able to add or withdraw money from the Shared Space. And now with Round-up rules, you can have your card purchases rounded up to the nearest euro, and get the difference automatically saved in a space of your choice.

    Since Apex Unity Business Smart is a business bank account, you’re expected to use it mainly for business-related purposes. You may, however, still use it for personal spending, as long as these do not make up the majority of your transactions. You may also use your account to receive your income from clients, or for business-related spending, such as paying the rent or on business trips.

    Yes. The Apex Unity Smart account is a euro account. This means that you’ll see your balance in euros. However, you can make payments in other currencies without having to worry about fees.
